| Dr.V.R.Muralidharan, hailing from a village, Cheruvathery near to Thrissur town by 7 kilometers studied at L.P.School Perinchery, UP School Perinchery and CNN BH School Cherpu. Then he studied at St.Thomas College, Thrissur for Pre Degree and Sree Kerala Varma College for Degree in Sanskrit and from PG onwards, say M.Phil and Ph.D, in the Department of Sanskrit , University of Calicut. He secured I Rank in all the three B.A, M.A and M.Phil examinations. He was qualified UGC JRF in the first attempt in 1996 and has taken Ph.D in manameyodaya :" A Critical Study under the supervision of Dr.K.N.Neelakandhan Elayath and was awarded Ph.D in 1993. He joined duty as lecturer in1989 at Sree Kerala Varma College for one year and then in 1995 joined Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady as a lecturer in the faculty of Sanskrit Language and Literature. presently he is Professor of Sanskrit since 2013 and has written a number of articles, edited a number of books of research. he areas of interest are Sanskrit Aesthetics, Linguistics, Mimamsa, Creative writings and Astrology and farming. He is further interested in classical art-forms of Kerala like Kathakali. He has written a number of poems and small dramas in Sanskrit and translated many Malayalam poems into Sanskrit.
