The Department of Social Work, Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady (Accredited by NAAC with “A+” Grade), along with the Social Work Association of Students, in association with the District Probation Office, Ernakulam, organized a National Seminar on 28 January 2026 on the theme “Beyond Punishment: Reimagining Correctional Administration for Justice, Rehabilitation, and Social Reintegration.”
The seminar provided a meaningful platform for academicians, practitioners, administrators, and students to engage in critical discussions, exchange knowledge, and explore innovative practices in the field of correctional administration. It also offered an opportunity to connect with professionals working in related areas and to contribute to legal and humane approaches within the criminal justice system.
