The Department of Social Work, Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady (Reaccredited by NAAC with A+ Grade) is organising a National Seminar titled “Conversio ’26” on 13–14 March 2026.

The seminar, themed “Contemporary Development Models of Practice in Social Work: Realities, Innovations and Emerging Directions,” aims to provide a national-level academic platform for academicians, research scholars, professionals, and students to engage in critical discussions on emerging development models, innovative practices, and future directions in social work.

The event will address contemporary challenges and transformations in social work practice across diverse contexts, fostering dialogue among academic institutions, practitioners, researchers, and policy stakeholders. The seminar also seeks to promote context-responsive, inclusive, and socially just approaches to development practice.

Faculty members, research scholars, professionals, and students are invited to participate and contribute scholarly papers. Best Paper and Best Presenter Awards will be conferred during the seminar.
