The department of Department of Painting is established in 1995 and belongs to the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. The students were admitted to four year BFA course after the completion of their foundation course in three main system; in which the students will study Painting as major subject and Graphics as inter disciplinary. On the completion of four year studies, the students were awarded BFA degree on concerned specialization. The four year studies included studies in any one of Inter- disciplinary subjects- Graphics, Sculpture and Darusilpa.
Current four year BFA course was introduced in 2002. There are 20 students admitted in every year for BFA. After successful completion of one year common studies they will be admitted for continuation of studies in specialization either in Painting or Mural Painting.
