World Sight Day 2026 is observed at Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady with a Vision Screening & Treatment Programme. The programme includes comprehensive eye screening, refraction and identification of refractive errors, screening for common eye diseases, eye health counselling and awareness, and necessary referrals and spectacle guidance. The programme is organised in association with Little Flower Hospital & Research Centre, Angamaly, and is open to all students and staff.
