Five-day Skill Development Programme to Begin on the 13th

A five-day Skill Development Programme jointly organized by the Central Library and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit will commence on January 13 at the Media Centre of the Kalady Main Campus. The programme will provide training on open-source library software such as DSpace and Koha.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. K. K. Geethakumari, will inaugurate the five-day Skill Development Programme at 9:00 a.m. on January 13. The session will be presided over by the Registrar, Dr. Mothy George. Syndicate members Prof. Mathews T. Thelli, R. Ajayan, and Dr. B. Ashok, along with Dr. K. V. Ajith Kumar, Director of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell, Susan Chandappilly, and M. P. Ambili, will deliver addresses.

Classes on various topics will be led by Dr. Veerankutty Chelathayakkott, Librarian, CUSAT, and Dr. Vimal Kumar, Assistant Librarian, Mahatma Gandhi University. The programme will conclude on January 13.
